Due to the current situation with Covid-19 our shop in St Albans is closed and so we cannot welcome you there, however we are open for business online and delivering orders. We are a small business and whilst I (Emma) am furloughed, my small team are still working to receive and fulfil online orders. With this in mind however, rest assured that we are taking all necessary precautions to keep our staff and customers safe. Specifically, in response to the Covid-19 pandemic we have updated a number of our business operations to adapt and to keep in line with government advice. Please find below a list of updates and FAQ’s that we hope will answer any queries you might have. Shop on Holywell Hill – The shop is closed until further notice.
Online Orders – Our website remains open and is vital to our survival and so we are supporting it and delivering the best possible service we can, so please feel able to order with confidence just as you did before. We have implemented increased hygiene when packaging your orders.
Delivery – We offer a number of delivery options, Local, National and International – for full details please see our Delivery Info page. We cannot offer Click & Collect from our shop at this time but do still offer Free Local Delivery to your doorstep in St Albans (up to 3 miles from the shop), Royal Mail Delivery and a courier option. We have noticed that delivery via Royal Mail has been a little slower than usual, so if speed is a priority we’d suggest using our courier option. To date, our couriers are still running without disruption and have also put in place a number of procedures, such as contactless delivery, to keep you safe.
Workshops – Due to the current rules around social distancing, we are not currently able to run any of our workshops that usually take place in our shop in St Albans. If you are already booked onto a workshop, we will hold your place on that workshop and schedule you onto our next available date, subject to rules allowing us to run. We don’t yet now when we will be up and running again and so we won’t contact you with a new date until we know we can definitely deliver the workshop. We value your booking very much and want you to be reassured that we will honour your booking and that we are very much looking forward to seeing you for it as soon as we can. Paint – Paint has been in very high demand and as a result stocks are low both with us and nationally. However if we don’t have a colour in stock, do email us on firstname.lastname@example.org as we may be able to find another stockist who does have it and we can point you to them so you can get your order fulfilled.
