Wax Works – In Conjunction with St Albans Food & Drink Festival

Come and learn how to make 2 fabulous natural eco friendly wax products. In this workshop you’ll learn how to make your own Beeswax food wraps and a hand poured soy wax candle.

Using fabric and beeswax we will show you how to make your own  food wraps to wrap and cover bowls of leftovers, sandwiches, cheese and so much more.  Banish cling film from your house and use these fabulous wraps to mould round food simply using the warmth of your hands.  Just wash in cool soapy water to reuse again & again. Surely these are the answer to beginning to banish plastic from our homes.

In the second part of the workshop, you’ll learn to pour your own soy wax candle with wooden wicks.   Add essential oils for a subtle fragrance if desired.  Makes a wonderfully personal and all natural gift.
